Autumn is here.

The other morning while out walking the dogs, the leaves were falling to the ground in great numbers. We walked on the dry crisp leaves. I looked up and my mind wandered to a scene I’d seen many times on the TV. Instead off leaves it was petals. Poppy petals and they were falling on men and women who were standing silently remembering the lives of countless others who had been lost in war.

Poppies are fragile, and so is life, so handle with care.

How can we handle all that life throw at us like, sorrow, depression, loneness, illness. How do we handle these emotions when they come !
Family and friends can help but they can have problems of there own.
I have a friend that can help you and he will never leave you or forsake you. He knows the very hairs on your head. He knows our every weakness His name is Jesus.

Every petal that fell represented a life lost in war. God sees everything so looking at those leaves, tells me that He remembers all that have fallen and He loves and cares for us all.

In the lines of an old hymn.
What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and grief to bare. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. Oh what peace we often forfeit, oh what pain we need not bare, all because we do not carry every thing to God in prayer.
