Remain peaceful in the midst of a storm

Last week we spent a week on holiday by the sea .What a place. Out of the window all the eye could see was sea.
One morning I awoke early, looking out of the bedroom window what an awesome sight .The sky was a wash with colour, it fair took my breath away.
Only the night before there had been a storm .I became really anxious as the waves were lashing the rocks and roaring winds sent the waves over the harbour wall with such force.
I was afraid, I stared out of the window, my heart pounding, I really did feel fearful .What happens if those waves got higher ? leaving the window I crepted back to bed and pulled the covers over my head.
My mind pictured the scene of Jesus fast asleep in the boat while the storm raged, the disciples became upset and fretful, Lord I prayed, I’m sorry, you are in control, forgive my foolish thoughts for being so fearful. I fell asleep only to awake early.
Was the storm still raging ?
Looking out of the window the colours were amazing. The sun was raising with a deep orange glow and the sky was painted with streaks of red and pink giving of such warmth.

                    The sea was calm now.
