One night while driving through the Lake District I noticed a small light moving on the hills. I watched it for some time to make sure it wasn’t flashing on and off as this would have meant that someone was in danger and needed help. Someone was using this torch to see the path down as they had left it a bit late to come off the mountain. This is where guide books and maps come in handy because these paths are not wide and caution is needed. Sometimes paths are not paths at all but just sheep trails that lead nowhere. I’ve often seen sheep stuck on ledges. There is a scripture in the Bible that says “thy word is lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”. Gods very own map and torch, the Bible. If only we would follow His guidance and let His light shine upon our path we would no go astray and end up stuck on a ledge with no where to go.
