Hello my name is Max, I am 8 months old. I am a blue merle border collie. My full Latin name is Maximis Troublis. I’m so pleased to be part of Paws for Thought, Jed is my mentor, and he is very wise. I think he likes me, well he smiles a lot at me and boy are those teeth big.
Yesterday, with no one else around I was let off my leash, it felt great. I enjoyed running along side the waters edge, dodging the waves, then I saw a flock of sea gulls and I was off, boy they were hard to catch. I ran and ran till I couldn’t see them any more and I stopped, I was alone. Looking around I felt scared, fear gripped me. Then I heard my name, the voices kept shouting, Max, Max I ran as fast as I could towards the sound, and then in view I saw them, with out stretched arms welcoming me back. I thought I would get scolded but no she was so glad to see me, she bent down and with a big hug put my lead on.
God loves is unconditional, no matter what we have done or how far we run away from Him he is always ready to welcome us back home.
